A History of Resonant Entertainment, LLC
The idea to start Resonant Entertainment came during a meeting between myself, a fellow actor Dan Bonjour and our manager Hector Tinoco. After discussing ideas for a company, we realized that our story visions were different. I wanted to make films that had a profound but subtle message, inspired by the films and shows that captivated me as a youth: The Wonder Years, Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Tombstone, and Legends of the Fall. (italics)One may wonder what these films and shows have in common. They all involve the real world and rich characters who fight in service of an inner truth, while also having an appreciation for the world around them. Outcast characters who are trying to fight their way back in, usually through their own inner journey. These elements were the inspiration and genesis of Resonant. I feel our mission is to develop quality entertainment that highlights the inner spirit, an acknowledgement of the struggles we as human beings all go through.
